First release.
A complete, accessible public website for counties, cities and special districts: services and offices, meetings and notices, records search with free copies and certified copies, online payments and a counter point of sale, a staff console with two-step sign-in, and a free open API with bulk files and a DCAT-US catalog for Data.gov. Free software under the GNU AGPL.
Install on a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 server:
sudo apt-get install -y git && sudo git clone --branch v1.0.0 https://github.com/OSGovt/open-county-portal.git /opt/county-portal && cd /opt/county-portal && sudo ./deploy/install.sh
Or run the fictional Utopia County on your own computer in three commands: see the README.
What was checked before tagging: CI with the image build; an unattended install on a clean machine followed by countyctl doctor and the conformance suite (71 pass, 0 fail); the nightly browser walk-through of the public demonstration. Full list of changes: CHANGELOG.md.
A source archive is attached automatically for servers without git.
