Synapse Blade Blocker 0.1.0
Initial experimental release of Synapse Blade Blocker.
Keep Synapse available for peripherals while excluding reviewed Blade laptop identities and laptop-specific routes. The tool prepares the installed Synapse build structurally; there is no Synapse version or historical executable-hash allowlist.
- Reversible Apply/Restore with verified original backups and atomic archive replacement.
- Applied-patch metadata recognized by OpenBlade 0.21.0 and newer, including its scoped Windows lighting-helper checks.
- Offline version reporting and sanitized, copyable diagnostics for compatibility issues.
Download and extract Synapse-Blade-Blocker-0.1.0.zip, then follow README.md. Requires Windows, PowerShell 5.1 or 7, and Node.js 22 or newer. Administrator access is needed for Apply/Restore. Razer components and patched vendor archives are not included.
The registry includes 40 reviewed Blade product IDs, not 40 physically tested models. The validated setup used Blade 16 and Pro Click V2 with Synapse AppEngine 4.0.823; the mouse remained available, the Blade was absent, and OpenBlade reported no conflict after the delayed lighting helper loaded. Complete isolation, other devices, and future Synapse behavior are not guaranteed. See VALIDATION.md.
The release ZIP passed 16 source tests, scratch Apply/Restore tests under PowerShell 5.1 and 7, and offline version verification. Local validation was used because hosted CI could not start due to organization billing.
