Chrome Extension for new tabs to redirect to Copilot BizChat

This Chrome Extension sets the default page for Microsoft Edge to be Copilot. Follow the steps below to download, activate developer mode, and use this extension in Edge. Extension is currently In Review for Edge store.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Download the Extension

• Clone or download the repository from GitHub: git clone https://github.com/BarneyHarrisMS/CopilotNewTab.git

Alternatively, you can download the ZIP file and extract it to a directory of your choice.

Step 2: Activate Developer Mode in Edge

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on the three dots (menu) in the upper right corner and select Extensions.
• Toggle the Developer mode switch in the bottom left corner to enable it.

Step 3: Load the Extension

• Click on the Load unpacked button.
• Select the directory where you cloned or extracted the extension files.
• The extension should now appear in your list of installed extensions.

Step 4: Set Copilot as the Default Page

• Open a new tab in Edge.
• You should see Copilot as the default page.

Usage

Simply open a new tab in Microsoft Edge to access Copilot. Enjoy the enhanced browsing experience with Copilot as your default page!
