I've noticed that when creating a new EmailMessage item, the save or update operation increases the size of the Java Heap as the request is being made to EWS. However that memory is never released once the save operation is done.
Seems more evident when the EmailMesage is created with MimeContent which also contains attachments. The larger the attachments within the mime stream, the larger the heap grows. Which is good and expected. However, the release of the memory after the message save/update operation is done is not happening.
