Main changes explained:

  • Added bar click handling to the Returned Late chart using existing Chart.js configuration
  • Implemented a right-side tool detail panel that opens on bar selection
  • Added backdrop and close behavior for the detail panel
  • Ensured the panel overlays the main layout and top navigation correctly
  • Applied theme-aware styling so the panel renders appropriately in both light and dark modes
  • Addressed accessibility linting requirements for interactive elements
  • No changes were made to existing tooltip behavior or API usage

How to test:

  1. check into current branch
  2. do npm install and ... to run this PR locally
  3. Clear site data/cache
  4. log as admin user
  5. Navigate to the "BMDashboard/returned-late-chart".
  6. Click on any bar and verify that the tool detail panel opens on the right side.
  7. Verify the panel displays the correct tool name and returned-late information.
  8. Verify the panel opens and closes correctly and works in both light mode and dark mode.
