Summary
When using the OneKeePass iOS client to access a .kdbx file stored on a WebDAV server (built with OpenList), the connection always fails with an "AccessDenied" error, stating "You are denied by bucket referer policy". However, other KeePass clients (e.g., Strongbox) can access the same file without any issues. This suggests the problem is specific to the OneKeePass client.
Steps To Reproduce
- Set up a WebDAV server using OpenList, with a .kdbx database file stored on it.
- Add the WebDAV connection to OneKeePass on an iPhone device.
- Attempt to open the .kdbx file in OneKeePass.
- Observe the "AccessDenied / You are denied by bucket referer policy" error.
Additional info:
- Other KeePass clients (e.g., Strongbox) connect to the same WebDAV server and .kdbx file successfully.
- The WebDAV server works normally with other clients, so the issue is specific to OneKeePass.
The error "You are denied by bucket referer policy" usually occurs because the OneKeePass client fails to send the correct Referer request header when making WebDAV requests, causing the anti-leech and Referer policies of OpenList to block the request. Clients like Strongbox can send valid Referer or User-Agent information, so their requests will not be intercepted.
