Windows key brings up windows menu, not open shell

Describe the bug

Recently updated to Windows 11 from Windows 10 Pro.
Have been using Open Shell on this computer since it was classic shell.
Installed fine, but shortly after sharting the windows key starts failing to bring up the open-shell menu, instea brings up windows menu.
Clicking on start button (which stays and is visible) bring sup open shell menu.
Checked settings. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Works fine after reinstall for a short time then behaviour reverts.
Would appreciate advice or fix!

Been using Open-shell for a long time,, my guess when you restart or logoff your computer Open-Shell no longer is running when you log back in?
Check Task Manager and then startup and verify Open-shell is enabled.
The OS upgrade would require this to be enabled the first time after Windows 11 was installed.

Kalmamn7g: I did check that and open shell is still running, hence the fact that it still works by mouse click.
What seems to the problem is ExplorerPatch which needs to be restarted in order to restore key functionality to Open-Shell.
For now, I restart FileExplorer manually after my machine has finished the usual startup process and all seems to work.
Looking for a way to do this in a batch file so I cna just add it to my startup menu. (Yes, I am lazy!)
