Openemu eat up space on my main disk; it won't come back until restart #1395

Strange issue here; Openemu is basically filling up the main disk, when scanning for roms.

I do not have settings for copying into the library, so I am not filling the disk with roms; also I have the home directory on another disk, so I would expect that whatever action is supposed to be performed, should happen where the home directory is (the library where the screenshots and all the other data is saved, should be in ~/Library/ApplicationSupport, is that correct?).

I tried to add 80 files in rar format for the saturn; the scan started, and after a bit I ended up with the main disk almost full. Is there a leak or something like temp files created somewhere on the system disk? I was looking in /temp and there is nothing there; looked everywhere, and the missing space was nowhere to be found; Finder would tell me that the disk space left was about 400 MB, but looking into every folder on the disk I couldn't find any trace of it (the sum of all folder, plus free space was not the same as the total disk size).

How do I check where is Openemu storing this phantom data? I never get it back, unless I reboot the computer. I see nothing in temp, console tells me nothing; the space just disappear. The worst part is that it goes on the main system disk, not where I have my home directory; which makes me think that it must be related to the decompression of the files that Openemu is scanning.

I love the app btw; I was finally able to throw away my old PPC mac, since I used it mainly for emulation (I had few old emulator frontend that sadly were not working without rosetta).
