OFS 1.3.1 causes 100% CPU load on a single core

I just started OFS 1.3.1 and I heard the fans in my usually silent water cooled system to spin up. That only happens when cores are under heavy load and the CPU start turbo boosting the frequency on a few cores.

Running OFS casuses one single core out of my 32 logical cores to turbo boost and run at 100% and thereby spin up the fans on the water cooling block. I have no idea if my issue is the same as the other CPU load issue reported, but I think the recent 1.3.1 changes needs a review since this issue has not been a problem with 1.2.1 and earlier. I tried creating an mpv.conf and added profile=gpu-hq, but that did not help. I script with 2048x1024 videos. I've got an nVidia RTX 3080 Ti. I can reproduce the issue by just starting OFS and idle with a low resolution video open.

If you need me to provide some logs or test something, please let me know. Meanwhile, I go back to OFS 1.2.1 because I can't stand the fan noise.

Oh I never noticed must've been in the "1.3.0_beta" aswell but I see with Process Explorer a thread spinning related to the LuaSocket stuff that I added.

Edit: Nevermind I introduced this in 1.3.1 has nothing to do with LuaSocket 😥

In the file logger I was locking a mutex in a loop which was only suposed to be locked once...
Which caused the SDL_CondWait() to fail instead letting the thread sleep.
