🚀 Installation & Startup

Windows

• Certificate Installation (Required for signed app):
  1. Download the CA Certificate (open-headers-ca.crt) from above
  2. Double-click the certificate file
  3. Click "Install Certificate..."
  4. Choose "Local Machine" (requires administrator privileges)
  5. Select "Place all certificates in the following store"
  6. Browse and select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities"
  7. Click "Next" and "Finish"
• App Installation: Run the installer after installing the certificate
• Startup: Access from Start menu or desktop shortcut

macOS

• Installation: Click DMG and drag to Applications folder
• Startup: Launch from Applications or Spotlight

Linux

• AppImage: chmod +x OpenHeaders-*.AppImage && sudo ./install-open-headers.sh
• DEB package: sudo apt install ./open-headers_*.deb
• RPM package: sudo rpm -i open-headers-*.rpm
• Startup for all: Application menu or open-headers command

Note: Following system reboot, the application launches automatically in background mode and resides in the system tray/menu bar.
This default behavior can be configured through the application settings (Menu → Settings).
