Hi @Vinze, we feel this request is more appropriate to track as a feature request in the Home Assistant organisation. Unfortunately GitHub is not allowing us to move this for you, so we kindly ask you to re-create your request yourself (I would do it for you, but then it would show up as if it's my request). You can create a new feature request here: https://github.com/orgs/home-assistant/discussions/new. Probably the easiest way to get everything copied over is to copy your original post as markdown via the overflow menu in its top-right corner: You can then simply divide the copied content over the required fields in the feature request form. |

Uh oh!

When adding multiple "Event received" triggers for the same entity using the new purpose-specific triggers, the trigger list shows identical labels for all of them, making it impossible to distinguish between them at a glance.
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
The trigger summary should reflect the configured event state(s). Suggested format:
This pattern is consistent with how other triggers in HA already surface their key configuration in the summary label.
Actual behavior
All triggers are shown identically as Event received (Button (1)), regardless of which event state is configured.
Why this matters
A common use case for the new purpose-specific triggers is routing button press types via trigger ID — which requires adding one "Event received" trigger per press type for the same entity. With identical labels, it is very easy to accidentally edit or reorder the wrong trigger, especially as the list grows.
