Can't download

Hello sorry for that stupid question but I have a problem and I can't figure it out.

I download the app (version 1.5. 1) from the Fdroid store
My android phone (android16) iodeOS(the app has full access and is on the unblock list from the firewall) .

I can access the app etc. But when I press on the download button it's 0% all the time in every repository(app) I can't figure out why it's not downloading and no error messages or anything. I also try wifi/mobile data, with VPN and without.

I am not quite sure but just to verify if its because of your network, if its possible could you try it in your desktop device?

I'm also consistently encountering the same issue since I installed it.

Also nothing shows up on the "installed apps" tab

CMF Phone 1 - 5G mobile data - android 15.

I use Obtainium but this app is too visually appealing to not use.

Unlike obtanium, if you minimize github store or leave app page and comeback again to the app. It will back to 0%.

@AdityaMH I didn't consider this case honestly but this is something to consider and it would change the architecture of the app a bit but thanks for reporting about it!

Regardless of how long I stay on the page where it is downloading an app, it doesn't make any progress whatsoever

I recommended it to my brother who has the same phone (CMF phone 1 on android 15) and surprisingly enough it works flawlessly for him

@LatringDay This is very strange, this should be something specific to device network, please try:

Settings → Apps → GitHub Store → Battery
Make sure it's "Unrestricted" not "Restricted"

or

Turn Wi-Fi off → try mobile data
Or mobile off → try Wi-Fi
Temporarily disable VPN / Private DNS

@AdityaMH This usually isn’t a rate limit issue.

The Installed Apps section in GitHub Store only shows apps that were installed through GitHub Store itself. It doesn’t scan your whole device like a traditional app store would.

This is because GitHub Store is designed mainly to help users discover and manage apps hosted on GitHub, including tracking updates for those specific installs. Apps installed from other sources (Play Store, APK files, etc.) won’t appear there.

I'm logged in, and there doesn't appear to be a rate limit issue. My brother also uses the same apps as I do, and when he first installed this app, all the apps he had downloaded directly from the GitHub website immediately appeared on the installed apps list. He can now update these apps through the GitHub store. A network issue could not be a possibility, as I can search for and view details of any GitHub repository.
