I'm not sure which branch this should go into - it looks like elsid's PRs went into new branches, and I once again fell for the accidentally-push-the-branch-to-upstream-because-you've-not-made-a-fork-yet-and-added-it-as-a-remote trap, so it's kind of already in a branch.
I'm also going to submit this upstream, so maybe merging this is unnecessary, and we can just update the baseline commit if it gets merged quickly.
