doesn't boot, tried compatability mode, tried running as admin, tried re-installing several times

If I use 3.10.0 it just gives this message:

I tried disabling transparency effects, running wallpaper.bat manually, replacing wallpaper.jpg with a lower resolution jpg, same issue

after almost an hour of desperate debugging and hair pulling, I find that for some weird reason it works if i do ""Minecraft Note Block Studio.exe" GMS2TEMP"

it seems like the program crashes in register_url_protocol() adding the regkeys for some reason causes it to crash

but there is another crash in the theme setting up that I was only able to fix after messing with the config to manually set

"Browse songs made by the community" button also crashes, it seems like every call to ExecuteShell triggers a program crash, and my workarounds just conveniently avoided calling this function, very strange
