Bugfixes and improvements

  • Disabled the "Expand Workspace" function on macOS due to a runtime crash.
  • Disabled auto unmaximizing on Linux due to rapid flashing.
  • Fixed bundle files not being copied over to app documents sometimes.
  • Fixed datapack export generating incomplete bundles.
  • Fixed undo compress selection crashing.
  • Fixed show note chart crashing on Windows.
  • Fixed songs with invalid instrument IDs crashing.
  • Fixed files not opening when double clicking them on Windows.
  • Fixed unable to choose the .minecraft directory on Windows.
  • Fixed backspace and tab keys not inputting correctly on Linux.
  • Fixed resource packs not loading on Linux.
  • Fixed sounds in included resource packs having incorrect octaves.
  • Fixed reference audio shortcut interfering with text input.
  • Fixed tempo not applying when dragging on the time bar while playing in player mode.
  • Fixed OS type being incorrect in logs.
  • Fixed trackpad being able to scroll sideways when playing on macOS.

  • Changed the default writing directory to %APPDATA%\Minecraft_Note_Block_Studio\ on Windows.

Note for Linux users

  • We cannot possibly extend our support for every Linux distro out there, but we will do our best to support as many as we can.
  • Make sure to also report if you encounter issues with your specific distro!
  • Dependencies: KDE desktops require kdialog. Other desktop environments require zenity to be installed. You'll also need 7zip for some of the export functions to work.
