Import Databases from other applications

The support for importing GSAK databases directly into OpenSAK seems to be moving along well. Should we stop there? Pros of this include:

• Development team familiarized with other design paradigms to adopt best practices
• Users are attracted/introduced to OpenSAK
• Other apps already handle things like unicode.

Cons:

• Distracted developers
• possible reluctant user adoption

Possible apps include:
Geoget
cachely
icaching

We dont have any plans supporting other than Groundspeak caches.

The applications i mentioned areball groundspeak api partners. So I dont understand the comment.
