Phase

Phase 1: Terrain modifier integration

Goal

Make mountain-family biomes structurally distinct across meadows, groves, slopes, and peaks.

Tasks

  • Tune mountains, snowy_mountains, meadow, grove, snowy_slopes, jagged_peaks, frozen_peaks, and stony_peaks modifiers.
  • Ensure peak compression still prevents extreme spikes.
  • Improve altitude/slope identity for mountain sub-biomes.
  • Add tests or baseline comparisons for high-elevation distribution.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Peak biomes are meaningfully higher/rougher than lowland biomes.
  • Meadows/groves appear as transition bands rather than random lowland patches.
  • LOD height output does not create obvious seams around mountains.

Dependencies

  • Requires terrain modifier integration.

Parallelization

Can run in parallel with wetland and dry-biome tuning after integration.
