Strings are not saved after being updated

I am the Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR) translator.
There are six strings that are out of date as of December 21, 2025.
As I always do, I clicked “Start Editing,” edited the string, and clicked the “Save Changes & Get Next String” button. Normally, I would be taken to the languages page after editing the last outdated string, but none of the edited strings are actually updated. The web translator enters in a never-ending editing loop.
Steps I took to try to resolve the issue:

1. I cleared my browser cache (Firefox).
2. I deleted cookies related to Github.
3. I logged out of my Github account.
4. I restarted my web browser.
   None of these actions resolved the situation.
   I would appreciate some help with this issue.

Hi, I had same problem with pl_PL, but adding an additional word, saving and then removing the added word helped. I don't think that this is a proper solution, but it worked for me.

Yes it's because non-positional string commands are ignored when comparing strings.
The only way is double edit, like adding a word or a space, save, go back, remove the addition, save again.
These kind of changes are a very rare event, so nothing has been done to handle them more nicely.
