OpenWebNet Protocol & WHO Specifications
Welcome to the OpenWebNet Protocol & WHO Specifications Archive. This page serves as the official open-access registry and cross-check inventory of all technical manuals, frame syntax, dimension definitions, and PDF specifications published by BTicino / Legrand for the OpenWebNet protocol across MyHOME systems.
Historically, these technical specifications were distributed through the MyOpen Community portal (myopen-legrandgroup.com / myopen-bticino.it), which is no longer active. To ensure that developers, installers, and community members have permanent access to accurate protocol documentation, we maintain this centralized registry.
If you are a professional installer or have an archive of BTicino/Legrand developer documents (such as @xtimmy86x, @lyubomirtraykov, or other community members), please help us cross-check and complete this archive:
- Compare File Names and Version Numbers: Look at the title page and updating history of your PDFs (e.g. "Last date modify", "Last version").
- Check for Newer Revisions: If your copy has a more recent date or version than listed below, please let us know!
-
Missing Families / Devices: We are actively seeking official documentation for:
-
WHO = 1&WHO = 24: Extended DALI / DALI-2 dimensions (tunable white, color temperature, RGB/RGBW ballasts, e.g. F429G). -
WHO = 14: Actuator diagnostics, hardware locks, and operational counters. -
WHO = 18&WHO = 22: Energy management, multi-tariff metering, and smart load control. -
WHO = 25: CEN+ extended scenario triggers and dry contact sensors (e.g. 3477). - Technical sheets and OpenWebNet programming guides for next-gen gateways (F461, MyHomeServer1).
-
How to contribute: You can share filenames, version dates, or documents by opening an issue on the OpenWebNet-HA/MyHOME GitHub repository or commenting directly in active protocol threads.
The table below catalogs every known OpenWebNet function family (WHO), its official Legrand document title, current known version, archive status, and Home Assistant platform mapping.
- ๐ข Archived & Verified: Official PDF is preserved in our archive with full syntax verified.
- ๐ก Legacy Copy Available / Cross-Check Needed: Legacy documentation or reverse-engineered definitions exist; seeking confirmation of the latest official version.
- ๐ด Needed / Missing: Seeking the official Legrand/BTicino PDF specification.
