Current Situation
Hi, SwitchBot Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
In Switch mode, the API documentation describes turnOn as “set to ON state” and turnOff as “set to OFF state.”
If turnOn is executed, does the Bot physically keep its arm down and continue pressing the target button until turnOff is sent?
Or is turnOn only a temporary action that changes the Bot’s logical state?
I would like to use turnOn to start holding a button and turnOff to release it when an external condition is met.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
