Feature Request: Add Event Property Filters to Retention Charts

Hi team!

We wanted to request an enhancement for the Retention Charts feature.

Currently, Retention Charts do not allow filtering based on the selected event’s properties. In other chart types across OpenPanel, we are able to apply filters on event properties, which makes analysis much more flexible and actionable.

It would be extremely helpful if Retention Charts could also support:

• Filtering based on event properties
• Multiple filter conditions similar to other OpenPanel charts
• A workflow consistent with existing chart filtering UX

This feature would help us analyze retention for more specific cohorts and user behaviors.

For reference, I am attaching:

1. Current retention chart in OpenPanel

2. An example from other OpenPanel charts where filters are supported (What is expected)

3. An example from Mixpanel where Retention Charts support property-level filtering (What is expected)
