What's New

Per-Band Sidechain for Dynamic EQ

Every Dynamic EQ band now has its own Sidechain dropdown. Choose from Off (self-detection), External (host sidechain bus), or Link 1–36 (Orra Link channel). Duck the mud band from the bass DI, dip the boxy band from the snare, and ease the harsh band from the vocal — all from different sources simultaneously. Zero added latency. Orra Link is included with Orra Press and free to insert on as many tracks as you need.

Orra Link Integration

Orra EQ now speaks Orra Link — the free routing utility that sends audio between any tracks in your session without buses or host sidechain routing. Insert Orra Link as a Sender on any track, assign it a channel (1–36), and pull it into any Dynamic EQ band's Sidechain dropdown. Run as many simultaneous sources as your session needs. Orra Link is included with Orra EQ and free to insert on as many tracks as you want.

Oversampling for Saturation Modes

New Oversampling control in the header: Off (lowest CPU), 2x (cleaner highs), or 4x (highest fidelity). Applies to Orra Tube, Tape, Models, and Dynamic Saturation bands. Setting persists with the project.

Piano View

A vertical scrollable piano keyboard available on every band. The key matching the band's frequency glows green when in tune, fading to yellow as it moves off-pitch. Includes Hz, note name, and cents readout. Great for tuning drums, finding harmonic resonances, or snapping bands to musical pitches.

Zones View

A vertical problem-zone strip showing SUB / BASS / MUD / BOXY / BODY / HARSH / SIBILANCE / AIR with a gold indicator line showing where the selected band sits. Quick gut-check for where you're EQing.

Auto-Opening Settings Panels

Selecting or adding a band now automatically opens the right settings panel for that mode. The 120px settings slot is now permanent — the main EQ display stays at constant width as you work.

Tabs Live Inside the Settings Panel

Panel-selector tabs moved into the settings panel itself in two rows. Each band remembers its last visited tab.

Tips Carousel

Upon load, the settings slot displays a rotating tip carousel — shortcuts, mouse modifiers, and workflow features. Tips rotate every ~8 seconds.

What's New

Low Cut & High Cut Filters

Two new filter types in EQ mode — a high-pass (Low Cut) and a low-pass (High Cut) for clearing out rumble, taming unwanted highs, or carving the top and bottom off any source.

• Selectable slope: 12 / 24 / 36 / 48 / 72 / 96 dB/oct
• Maximally-flat Butterworth response — no resonant bump at the corner
• Zero added latency

Bug Fixes

• Pro Tools: The highest-numbered band in a saved session could load silent and hidden until another band was clicked. Bands now restore correctly on load in every host.
• Analyzer toggles: The header toggles for the input analyzer, peak hold, and band curves now persist across window close/reopen and project reloads, matching the output analyzer.
• Delete band: Deleting a band no longer leaves the Solo / Bypass / Delta / Hide buttons missing until a different band is selected.

Notes

All changes are additive — existing sessions load unchanged.
