Portal did not start this attempt – ODS 3.0.0 Windows/WSL2 installation

Hello ODS team,

I need help with a reproducible Portal problem after a fresh Windows 11 / WSL2 installation.

System:

• Windows 11
• WSL2 / Ubuntu 26.04
• AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
• 32 GB RAM
• CPU-only inference
• Docker Desktop
• ODS 3.0.0 development
• OpenClaw 2026.6.33
• Pixel / Portal

The installation itself completed successfully.

The following components have been verified as working:

• Docker / Docker Compose
• ODS services and health checks
• ODS Doctor: runtime_ready = true
• Portal API: owner agent available
• OpenClaw gateway: running and connectivity probe OK
• Direct OpenClaw Pixel agent test succeeds
• ods chat succeeds and returns the requested text
• Local Qwen 3.5 2B inference works

However, the Portal web UI at http://localhost:3001/pixel consistently shows:

"Portal did not start this attempt. Restore its connection and send your message again."

This happens every time when sending a message from the Portal UI.

Example:
"Antworte exakt mit: ODS funktioniert."

The same request works successfully when sent directly through the OpenClaw Pixel agent and through ods chat.

The official verify-portal-api.py reports:

"Portal API confirms the owner agent is available. A chat test is still required to verify generation."

So the problem appears to be specifically between the Portal web UI and the otherwise working Pixel/agent backend.

An ODS support bundle has also been generated with the official support tooling.

Could you please help identify why the Portal UI cannot start the agent/chat attempt although the Portal API and direct Pixel agent are working?
