More fixes and polish for ISP Health and mobile UX. See v1.20.0 release notes for what's new in v1.20.0+

Monitoring

  • Xfinity XB8/XB10 cable modem support - SNMP-based monitoring for Xfinity gateway devices including signal levels, channel stats, and uptime.
  • ISP Health: reliable multi-network tooltips - Per-Network RTT chart tooltip now consistently shows all ASN series at every point, not just one. Fixed by aligning all series to a shared time grid.
  • ISP Health: step-change detection tuning - Lowered the detection threshold, improved transit ASN labeling, and fixed step-down detection after short-lived transit shifts so path changes are caught more reliably.

Fixes

  • Mobile nav bar scroll behavior - Fixed an edge case where the nav bar could get stuck hidden on short pages (like Client Dashboard tabs with no data). The bar now reappears automatically when switching to a tab with less content.
  • Touch tooltips on buttons - Tapping buttons on mobile no longer leaves a tooltip stuck on screen after the action or after navigating away.

Wi-Fi Optimizer

  • Clickable links from band distribution and AP load balance - Client counts in band distribution and AP load balance now link directly to client stats.

Documentation

  • Proxmox updating guide - Added a clear "Updating" section to the Proxmox README and deployment guide.

Installation

Windows: Download the MSI installer below

Docker:

docker compose pull && docker compose up -d

macOS (native, recommended for accurate speed tests vs Docker Desktop):

git clone https://github.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer.git && cd NetworkOptimizer && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh
# or if you already have it cloned
cd NetworkOptimizer && git pull && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh

Proxmox:

bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer/main/scripts/proxmox/install.sh)"
# or if you just need to update
pct exec <CT_ID> -- bash -c "cd /opt/network-optimizer && docker compose pull && docker compose up -d"

For other platforms (Synology, QNAP, Unraid, native Linux), see the Deployment Guide.
