More refinements to ISP Health outage reporting. See the v1.21.0 release notes for what's new in the 1.21 line, and v1.21.1 for the last patch.

Monitoring

ISP Health

  • Per-hop outage waterfall - Access ISP hops are broken out per target, so you can see which hop dropped and which recovered first (the inside-out heal), with ASN-based row labels and internet endpoints trimmed to two.
  • More accurate outage boundaries - A target with no data during an outage no longer shows as a spurious "stayed up" row, and a single outage that briefly clears during staggered recovery is no longer split into several separate outages.
  • ISP Network ordered by RTT - The hop list now sorts by round-trip time, nearest first.

Installation

Windows: Download the MSI installer below

Docker:

docker compose pull && docker compose up -d

macOS (native, recommended for accurate speed tests vs Docker Desktop):

git clone https://github.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer.git && cd NetworkOptimizer && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh
# or if you already have it cloned
cd NetworkOptimizer && git pull && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh

Proxmox:

bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer/main/scripts/proxmox/install.sh)"
# or if you just need to update
pct exec <CT_ID> -- bash -c "cd /opt/network-optimizer && docker compose pull && docker compose up -d"

For other platforms (Synology, QNAP, Unraid, native Linux), see the Deployment Guide.
