Radio with Tef6686 - what firmware will be suitable for the radio with remote control?

Hi. I have a Tef6686 radio from AliExpress. The radio has three encoders for control, no touchscreen, and a remote control for changing the waveband and volume. The factory-installed Lithio Patch V102 software was installed in China. Is it possible to install the Megatron software for the Deepelec DP-666 radio while retaining remote control functionality?

The firmware is compatible, but the issue is that the USB port of this radio in earlier versions seems unable to be used for firmware updates

The functions triggered by long pressing will be different and can be set, while others remain the same as before

The PE5PVB firmware fully supports remote control - it works immediately after installation with no additional configuration. Your AliExpress radio uses the same hardware architecture as the DP-666, which is explicitly supported (see v2.20 release notes: 'Support for DP-666 Buttons'). Install the latest release v2.20.5 from https://github.com/PE5PVB/TEF6686_ESP32/releases and the remote will work out of the box.
