Okay. I found the answer. And the Answer is that I'm a dumbass. I got my download via an old stackoverflow post, I mean 13 years ago old, and I never stopped to ask whether the files I was downloaded had been updated recently. So the reason there was a split() function, which I found another forum saying was deprecated 10 years ago, was because I have a version of phpmailer from a literal decade ago. Please laugh otherwise I might cry. |
