Ability to quickly identify corresponding .dat file

Hello!
I would like to be able to quickly identify which saved record (*.dat file) corresponds to which scanned drive/folder.
As it currently stands, giving the records' names (rep.12345678.dat) I have to identify the corresponding scanned drive/folder by opening the Record Info for every record saved.
Maybe in the future add another string to their names: rep.12345678.ScannedDrive.dat?

Hi, I will think about that but that create a couple of problems and there is no perfect solution to them ( as usual :) ). For backup purpose you're always welcome to use the "Export Record" action.

What if you just add (for now) the file name in the record label tooltip?

That can be done, but could you clarify what is your need exactly (as a user) ? What needed functionality is missing ?

It's nothing major but, for example, I wanted to send 3 specific catalogs to my son so he could search for some files he needed on some drives he left home and I didn't want to send him hundreds of catalogs (I have many data DVDs).
And to tell you the truth, I'm just very nostalgic about Cathy, an app that I used for many, many years and am trying to replace with Librer, because of its age (and Cathy saves the catalogs using their exact names).

However, I can't get Cathy catalog import option to work correctly (no files displayed in the imported catalog). Please, see example in screenshots below:

It would be very helpful if you could share the librer logs and Cathy catalog files that are causing the issues.
... and how in the world you got such application icon ? :)

If you mean the icon from Librer, I did absolutely nothing to it. But I can't replicate the red X I captured in the screenshot.

That database had newer version. With some reverse engineering I hope I managed to support it correctly. Keep testing :)

v1.0782.592 is importing fine my latest Cathy catalogs (like the one above). Thanks!

However, my older catalogs are still failing to import. Like this one:

There is draft of importing multiple Cathy databases to single Librer record (usually better scenario from Librer searching standpoint)

Tried it. It still imports them in separate records (see cathy-imported-DVD-005, cathy-imported-DVD-006 etc.). The difference is only the root. Is this the intended behavior? From the description I would've imagined it imports them all in cathy-imported record.

Also, should 2 records be able to have the same name (see cathy-imported-DVD-003)? I changed one name during import to see if it imports in the same record.
