Wicket is a component-based web-app, like JSF. And this is a basic wicket web-app. Nevertheless you can see some main aspects of wicket, namely: 1-configuration of web.xml (applicationName, filter). 2-seperation of GUI and logic (html vs. java) 3-role of main class (webapplication)
