Keyboard backlight adjustment not working on Nitro AN515-58

OS: CachyOS (latest)

Everything is working correctly except for the keyboard backlight controls. When I run the application, I encounter "Error read EC register for Nitro Mode: 5" repeatedly in the terminal.

As in the readme, for keyboard RGB control you need the kernel module linked (the Acer predator rgb one).
About that error, maybe the addresses are not correct, but if so the other stuff shouldn't work either. I'm going to investigate more
