Will SF 4000 Mix AC+ supported in the future?

Hi everyone,

I just received my new SF 4000 Mix AC+. Is there any plan to support this device?
I run the Zendure system together with a SolarEdge so I need a tool that balanced and handles both batteries :)

Yes, all models are to have their own profile. You might be able to get a head start by gathering some information—for example, the maximum possible charging and discharging power.

I´m quite sure I configured all the sensors correctly but I get an "Einrichtungsfehler, wird erneut versucht: not_valid_option / Setup error, retrying: not_valid_option". Do you have any idea? :/

Maybe important: My Zendure Values are based of the MQTT integration. Currently the official Zendure Integration does not support die SF Mix Series... :/ Additionally I have an SolarEdge System.

According to the Z-HA GitHub issue, the firmware still contains a bug that prevents device data from being transmitted after connection. Apparently, the 800Pro2 had the same issue at launch. MQTT is no longer supported by models from the 800Pro/SF2400AC series onwards. While entities are created, they do not update; the correct approach is to select ZenSDK for the local connection.

Surely your PV system has a capacity greater than 15 Wp? ;) You almost certainly mean 15 kWp, so you need to enter 15000 for the SolarEdge system. Does it have a battery as well? The current auxiliary battery configuration simply ensures that no energy transfer occurs between the batteries. So, for instance, if the SolarEdge battery is charging, discharging of the Zendure unit is blocked, and vice versa.

All in all, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for a firmware update that finally transmits the hardware information; only then will the entities appear in Z-HA and the battery be controllable properly.

I tried to integrate the system with the MQTT integration because this already worked for me and does not require the Zendure Integration in HA.

So enabling MQTT in the Zendure APP worked for me and I can see the information in MQTT in my Home Assisstant and also control the battery :)

But yes: Only via MQTT - so maybe I was a little bit too early and bleeding edge to try it directly with MQTT instead of the Zendure integration with ZenSDK.

Actually I know that Zendure not open the data form the new models. The Zendure integration get no data after setup.
How so u get data from the devices? :-)

When you enable MQTT in the Zendure APP the data are locally send to your MQTT Broker (in my case HA itself).

This works without the Zendure Integration in Home Assistent:

So, if MQTT is working reliably for you and updates correctly, then you can use it that way—there’s no reason not to.
