Self critique

What did we do well?

• We completed all project phases in a timely manner.
• We established regular meeting times each week.
• Each team member worked efficiently on the tasks they were assigned.
• Created a nicely designed website with working features that performs a useful function.
• Bootstrap was used to create a visually appealing, minimalistic design.
• The tasks were separated as equally as possible.
• Understood the tools we used for each project phase.
• With each member contributing, we all had to learn the tools used for each phase.

What did we learn?

• How to manage the project timeline
• We needed to know when to start working to not be pressed for time
• We learned that it was necessary to meet several times for each project phase
• How to use/implement HTML, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, Digital Ocean, and Flask in a web application
• We had to use HTML/CSS for phases 1 and 2
• We had to use Javascript for phase 2 .
• We all had to have great communication and collaborative skills to be successful

What can we do better?

• We can enhance styling in our website
• Improve layouts
• More color to make more pleasing to the eye
• We can learn to fetch data by ourselves in the future.

What puzzles us?

• How Flask is useful in a more developed project
• The functionality of the Python virtual environment
• The specific ways in which each of the above works together to run and host the website
• Learning to implement all the configuration steps on our own, without the step-by-step guide
