Hi,
I think there may be a bug in how the online users count is calculated in the statistics.
On the dashboard, I currently have:
- Total users: 5,977
- Active users: 1,370
- Online users right now: 222
- Expired users: 4,573
But in the “User Count” chart, when I select Online Users for the last 24 hours, it shows “Count During Period: 6,645”.
This number looks incorrect, because it is higher than the total number of users in the system. Also, only around 1,200–1,300 users are actually active, so it does not make sense for the online count over the period to be 6,000+.
It looks like the chart may be counting repeated online events, sessions, or status updates instead of unique online users.
Could you please clarify how the online users count is calculated for daily, weekly, and other time ranges?
Expected behavior:
The online users count for a selected period should probably show unique users who were online during that period, not the total number of online events or repeated records.
Actual behavior:
The chart shows a much higher number than the total/active user count, which makes the online statistics confusing and probably inaccurate.
I attached screenshots showing the issue.
