Put more useful information in database summary on home page

Summary Tables

At a glance

This table has 'Metric, Value', which is difficult to decipher

• "Unique traits" isn't clear - could be unique variables or something
• "Plant species" is everything in the species table, which is the entire USDA plants database + additions; so having >70k doesn't say much about the diversity of data.
• citations - should be 'data sources' and should only include those that are in the traitsview table

Some ideas

• present # observations and # sites per biome
• present # observations and # sites per PFT (choose a coarse pft grouping from pfts table)
• are there really 23k unique research sites? The only relevant sites are the ones that are in the traitsview table, I think many are recorded to keep track of various other data like met and / or PEcAn model runs.

Quick start

• we don't need checked, result_type or any id fields.
• Would be nice if this table were searchable, this can stay even if the quickstart / package home page moves (Updates to website: organization, design, and forwarding betydb.org #15)
• Table of bioenergy crop obs reinforces the idea that this is bioenergy focused; we don't want to highlight that. So present something that highlights the diversity of crops (see summaries by biome and pft above)

• most common species and traits (similar to the manuscript, but not limited to bioenergy crops)?
