  • Accessibility permission prompt — app now asks for Accessibility on first launch with live status indicator in the menubar
  • Voice detail levels — choose Brief, Natural, or Detailed for the [VOICE:] tag spoken summary
  • Barge-in — TTS audio is interrupted when you start recording (press Ctrl)
  • Smaller transcription overlay — with close button and waveform that fills from the right
  • UI polish — swapped auto-focus/auto-submit positions, removed redundant labels, smaller server buttons
  • Embedded temp cleanup — runs automatically on server restart (removed Clean Temp button)

  • Atomic mkdir-based lock in tts-hook.sh (replaces non-portable shlock)
  • RIFF header validation on TTS response (detects JSON error responses)
  • Global event monitor thread safety (dispatch to main thread)
  • NSLock scope fix in AudioRecorder (snapshot under lock, merge outside)
  • Static date formatter (avoids per-call allocation)

Install

Download ClaudeWhisperer-1.2.1.dmg, open it, drag to Applications, and launch. On first launch you'll be prompted for Accessibility and Microphone permissions.
