Joomla 3.6.2 - Can't create and save menuitem

Hello Christian,
I have downloaded and installed the latest FA and FA Search Component.

Problem:
I could not create and save the respective MenuItem-type!
I have used the latest Github downloads and Joomla 3.6.2

I have to admit, that I am not sure about the additional Plugin you have mentioned.
Is it required to make it work at all? I mean, does it have an impact on the MenuItem creation?
(I don't have that plugin.)

I have filled all required inputs. i.e. title and menu

After SAVE or CLOSE/SAVE the field values disappear, and a warning shows up:

PS: I could not find a current DEMO. Did I miss something obvious? At least some screenshots of the options and frontend display would help a lot. Thanks in advance.

Yes youi need a plugin. I will send you for testing.

Thank you very much! But...

I have installed and activated the plugin. Unfortunately that does not change anything.
I get the same issue and messages. It is not possible to create/save the MenuItem.
