Modron - 1.2.0
** Note: ** Please make a backup of your worlds before migrating. This is required more than ever for this release.
Important Upgrade Information
Version 14 introduces significant internal changes and requires the v13 Migration Preparation Release (V1.1.14) before upgrading.
If you have not already completed the migration process, do not install v14 yet. Instead:
- Install the v13 Migration Preparation Release.
- Open each of your worlds and allow all migrations to complete.
- Manually migrate any custom module compendiums by right-clicking the compendium in v13 and migrating them.
- Verify world compendiums have been migrated (they should migrate automatically, but you can manually run the migration if needed).
- Create a backup of your worlds.
- Update to v14.
Upgrading directly from an earlier version without completing the migration preparation release is not supported and may result in data loss or incomplete migrations.
Additions / Changes
- Migrates Active Effect system to be compatible with v14.
- Migrates Measured Templates to use Regions instead.
- Template placement no longer happens automatically; instead, it is placed from the button in the chat card.
