The public roadmap lists OpenTelemetry as exploring — explicitly not committed.
S23 already covers the Prometheus operator path. Traces / OTLP / a collector could become an optional follow-on section; they might also stay out of the curriculum.
What would help
Whether facilitators want traces beyond metrics in a practitioner workshop
Scope that stays teachable in one optional section
Tools or topologies that fit a kind / shared-cluster lab
