Hi PlusLib team,
After the information that my system doesnt work with the updated Clarius App i update to PlusApp v2.9.0.20250613, and after that the research tool fcal.exe (from the new Plus Toolkit Version) no longer starts and throws this error on Windows 10 (Education, 64-bit):
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142).
This did not occur with the PlusApp version used in May 2025 (likely v2.9.20240227), where everything worked smoothly.
I suspect this is due to a mismatch or breaking change in the DLL interface or initialization routine.
✅ Tested system:
OS: Windows 10 Education 64-bit
PlusApp: 2.9.0.20250613 (latest as of June)
Tool: fcal.exe (03.03.2025) – external research tool
Issue: fcal fails to start immediately after PlusApp update
💡 Questions:
Has anything changed in the PlusApp initialization or DLLs (ClariusPlusToolkit, etc.) that might affect third-party tools?
Is there a way to get access to a previous PlusApp version (May 2025) to restore compatibility?
Could this be related to runtime/dynamic dependencies not resolving under new build settings?
I just need the quick Fix so my fcal works again.
Thank you very much for your work and support!
Best regards,
Andyi
