Evolution Chain Issues

Hi! For the past few days I've been using your API and I was trying to implement a dataframe containing evolution chains information, something like:

child_id	child	parent_id	parent	evolution_method
43	Oddish	44	Gloom	level-up (level 21)
44	Gloom	45	Vileplume	use-item (leaf-stone)
44	Gloom	182	Bellossom	use-item (sun-stone)

Your API works well until regional forms are involved. There are not clear ways to tell when a pokemon evolves to regional form. Some examples of missing evolutions:

• Pikachu to Raichu Alola,
• Zigzagoon Galar to Linoone Galar,
• Meowth Alola to Persian Alola.

For these example I get:

• Pikachu evolves into Raichu (twice)
• Zigzagoon Galar evolves into Linoone Standard
• Meowth Alola evolves into Persian Standard

I'd like to help with suggestions and even cooperate for the chenges. How can I be useful?

Thanks for pointing these out - sometimes it does take some time for the API to update with recent PRs, so I'd give it some time. I just checked Meowth (also in your table) and it seems that the new fields haven't been propagated through all resources just yet.

Once these evolutions have the necessary fields if you find that they aren't accurate definitely make an issue for it and we can check over it to make sure things are looking good!

Admittedly I don’t know, sometimes it takes a few days after the automated PR to our data repository. Maybe @Naramsim can comment on it, but I’d give it a few days at least.

Actually it should be almost instantaneous. After merging the PR in the api-data repo the data is updated in an hour or so, and the cloudflare cache cleared.

I'll check if everything went on smoothly, maybe the ci cd broke
