- Fully revamped Bill’s PC with easier box management.
- Reworked Exp.All distribution.
- Upgraded Trainer AI.
- Restored trading with vanilla games, other Yume games, and likely other vanilla-compatible hacks.
To play Pokémon Yume, download the BPS patch below for your preferred version, and patch it to a clean copy of Pokémon Red, US version sha1: ea9bcae617fdf159b045185467ae58b2e4a48b9a.
If your character is stuck upon updating from a previous Yume save, select 'Go home' in the option menu to warp back to Pallet Town. Always back up your save before updating!
Saves from the original games or other hacks are not compatible.

- Refactored Exp.All:
- Experience is now divided into equal shares.
- Participating Pokémon receive two shares, while other party members receive one.
- Distribution text now displays one shared total instead of individual notices.
- Added an unlockable Exp.All boost in the postgame.
- Fixed several experience-distribution bugs.
- Upgraded Trainer AI.
- Restored trade compatibility. Trading now works between Yume and vanilla games, between two Yume games, and likely with other vanilla-compatible hacks such as Shin Pokémon Red.
- Updated the female player’s overworld sprites (credit to Tobias_Levi).
- Added new Blue-style Pokémon back sprites (credit to NunWinter).
- Added a consistent palette to the Cable Club Pokémon selection screen.
- Added softlock safeguards: the player can warp home from the Options menu, and Mom gives the player ¥500 when they are low on money.
- Added the ability to switch Pokémon with Up and Down on the Stats screen.
- Added an exit shortcut to Saffron Gym after defeating Sabrina.
- Improved the Move Deleter and Move Reminder interfaces.
- Updated the Underground and Forest tilesets and maps.
- Made the spinning engine smoother and faster.
- Modified the Super Game Boy palettes for Blue version.
- Revamped the warp engine and updated the Rocket Hideout elevator to use both exits.
- Counter now counters all physical moves instead of only Normal- and Fighting-type moves.
- During the postgame Agatha event, special ghosts now remain unidentified until revealed by the Silph Scope.
- Updated the Mt. Moon Square Clefairy encounter: its probability now increases with the number of steps taken.
- Added a hint from the sailor aboard the ferry about taking a nap before arrival.
- Cut trees no longer reappear when moving between maps with seamless transitions.
- Reduced loading times in certain maps, including the Power Plant and Cinnabar Gym.
- Fixed running sprites sometimes failing to load correctly.
- Fixed the Ship and Docks color palettes.
- Fixed checking Pokédex habitats cancelling the player’s surfing or biking state.
- Fixed the Game Boy Color palette in the French Blue version.
- Fixed misplaced text on the French naming screen.
- Fixed the left-right order of the Text Speed setting.
- Fixed an incorrect sound after the Silph Scope reveals the Marowak ghost.
- Fixed the selected Pokémon sprite style not being used during trades.
- Fixed a visual bug when returning to the overworld after battle.
- Fixed a flicker when reloading the Stats screen.
- Made various small dialogue adjustments and fixes.
