2x2 base tree issue

On the latest Terra version for spigot 1.16.5 (5.3.1-BETA) i discovered an issue with the new dark oak trees. Im currently not sure if this issue applies for other trees with a 2x2 base as well but it might be something you should take a look at.

If you grow a dark oak tree it looks like most of the time the 2x2 placed saplings would not be consumed, the tree only grows if you have plantet an area with 2x2 saplings, but when growing the actually tree got out of place:

oh yeah, I remember this one. It depends on the direction which you're facing.

@dfsek I'm pretty sure this is an issue with Terra and not the default pack.

On my server it doesn't let me create 2x2 spruce trees at all with terra 5.4.1
