What Have I Noticed?
In our community, I have noticed that it is very tech heavy and a computer-heavy work environment for numerous thing, which exclude those who don't have enough money to afford tech. While many schools try to have school-issued Chromebooks, these are low quality and do not stimulate the learning environment as well for low-income kids.
How Can We Bridge This Gap?
We can bridge the gap between low-income students in 4S Ranch by supporting tech programs in the area. There are numerous tech programs that are run by non-profit organizations in order to teach tech and donate tech to those who don't have a lot of access to it. In this way, people who don't have as much access to tech can learn tech and use tech just like every other person in 4S Ranch.
