Philips exporting empty channel list

Hello there!

I finally decided to organize my TV channel list. The channels are provided by my cable TV provider, and many of them are encrypted. Despite that, my TV has tons of channel program data ( more than 3 GB, making Tv memory low).

So I googled the issue, ended up here, exported my channel list to a USB drive, opened it with ChanSort, and... the list was empty. I thought that maybe Philips had changed the way the data is exported (TV model: 55OLED706/12, list format version: 115.0), so I downloaded the source code, attached a debugger, and started analyzing what was going on.

After about two hours of investigation, I figured out that my TV had never actually exported any channel data. To verify this, I exported the channel list and immediately imported it again. As a result, I ended up with 0 channels. The .xml files are empty.

Does anyone have any idea how I can properly export my channels in a way other than through Settings > Channels? I don't think Philips has ever released an update to fix this issue.

Philips has so many different file formats that I lost track of all the details by now.
What some manufacturers do is that they only export a channel list (with data) when the initial channel search was done as full frequency search (as opposed to any preconfigured lists based on cable/satellite providers).
It might also depend on your country setting. AFAIK for Great Britain they enforce a fixed channel list so that they comply with one of the 3rd party logos they stick on their TVs. (They also disable reordering channels though the TV's menu in that case).

That being said, I did receive several files with format 115 that contained channel data. Most of them from Germany.
I don't have access to any Philips TVs or contacts to technical staff, so I can't find out the exact conditions when exporting/editing is actually possible.
