EveryThing-UI Widget Pack v1.2 - The Polish & Performance Update 🛠️

Welcome to the EveryThing-UI Widget Pack v1.2!

After the massive expansion in v1.1, this update focuses entirely on under-the-hood optimization, intelligent scaling, and squashing bugs to make your desktop experience significantly smoother and completely error-free.

📦 What's New & Fixed in v1.2

  • Dynamic Disk Space Tracking: The System Status widget has been completely overhauled. It no longer relies on hardcoded drive letters (which caused log-spamming errors if you didn't have D, E, or F drives). It now uses a custom, silent background script to intelligently scan and sum the capacity of all connected drives automatically!
  • Seamless Color Refresh: Applying new accent colors is now buttery smooth! We replaced the aggressive [!RefreshApp] logic with a targeted [!Refresh *] command. This prevents your entire screen from flashing and stops Rainmeter from fully restarting when you simply want to change a color.
  • Portable Install Support for Photos: The ChoosePhoto widget script has been rewritten to dynamically locate your active Rainmeter process. Whether you use a standard installation or a custom portable setup on another drive, changing photos will now work flawlessly out of the box.
  • Wallpaper Extension Normalization: Fixed case-sensitivity bugs across the Wallpaper widget by normalizing all images and code references from .PNG to the standard lowercase .png format.

🚀 How to Install / Upgrade

  1. Ensure you have the latest version of Rainmeter installed on your Windows PC.
  2. Download the EveryThing-UI_1.2.rmskin file from the Assets section below.
  3. Double-click the file to install it. If you already have v1.0 or v1.1 installed, simply allow Rainmeter to overwrite the existing files.
  4. Open the Rainmeter Manager from your Windows system tray, right-click the EveryThing-UI folder, hit "Refresh all", and load your optimized Widgets!

🔮 What's Next?

The foundation is now more stable than ever. Moving forward, I am actively looking into even more creative ways to bring functional elegance to your desktop while strictly maintaining zero bloat and low resource usage.

Enjoy the ultimate clean setup! If you run into any issues or have ideas for new widgets, feel free to open an Issue in the repository.
