Code Review

This pull request bumps the package version to 6.0.1. The changes include updating the version in pyproject.toml and adding a new entry to CHANGELOG.md. The changes are correct, but I found a small inconsistency in the changelog's release date that should be addressed.

The format is based on [Keep a Changelog](https://keepachangelog.com/en/1.0.0/),
and this project adheres to [Semantic Versioning](https://semver.org/spec/v2.0.0.html).

The release date for version 6.0.1 is listed as the same as for version 6.0.0. This is likely a copy-paste error and should be updated to the correct release date for version 6.0.1.
