SciCalX

SciCalX is an advanced scientific calculator software that supports fundamental equations from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. It includes essential unit conversion functionality and smooth animations, all built with Electron and packaged for Windows. This version (v1.0.0 Alpha.1) is the first release of the app, and more features will be added over time.

  • MathJax: Utilizes MathJax for rendering mathematical formulas in the app.
  • Scientific Notation Converter: to convert to scientific representation.

Installation

  1. Download the installer from the Mediafire link below.
  2. Run the installer and follow the prompts.
  3. Once installed, you can the app launches (or) search for "SciCalX" in the Windows start menu to launch the application.

How to Contribute

If you would like to contribute, feel free to fork the repository, submit issues, and create pull requests.

  1. Fork the repository.
  2. Create a new branch: git checkout -b feature/new-feature.
  3. Commit your changes: git commit -am 'Add new feature'.
  4. Push to the branch: git push origin feature/new-feature.
  5. Create a new Pull Request.

Known Issues

  • Alpha Version: This is the first alpha version of SciCalX, and some features might not be fully implemented or could have bugs.
  • Performance Issues: Large calculations might cause some unexpected stuff
  • If you encounter any issues, please report them in the Issues section of this repository.

  • Calculator Skins: Customizable UI to make the calculator more personalized.
