Results from decay test demos do not match provided reference data

While running the decay test demos (sphere_decay, oswec_decay, and rm3_decay) in HydroChrono, I observed that the simulation results are not consistent with the reference data provided for each case.

Please see below for the comparison with corresponding reference data.

Environment:

• OS: macOS 14.1.1
• Compiler: AppleClang 14.0.0
• Chrono version: 9.0.1
• HydroChrono version: main branch

Any help on resolving the issue would be appreciated.

Thats very strange - thanks for flagging this but I can't reproduce these errors on my side - the tests are passing fine for me. So its very hard to say what could be causing the discrepancy.

However, we're currently reviving HydroChrono after a long hiatus - over the next 1-2 weeks I'll be merging some major PRs and preparing a new release - including a new test suite and UI, which will hopefully make things much easier!

Hi @ramisetti, I just tagged an updated release - you can download the binaries here: https://github.com/Project-SEA-Stack/HydroChrono/releases/tag/v0.3.1

and the test results are included in a pdf too - which shows everything passing, e.g.
