Remove duplicate, incomplete contributor's information

We have documentation on how to contribute in the top-level README.md and in CONTRIBUTING.md. The former is not nearly as complete. I suggest either removing the contributor info from README.md, or adding a note that more detailed information is available in CONTRIBUTING.md
