It would be good if there is anyway to know what configuration proxyman is using like which port and ip proxyman is running, whether user has enabled proxy or not etc...

I am currently trying to make a upstream proxy so i want it to hook it up with proxyman too easily. So it would be easy if there is api that I can use and change setting like upstream proxy also etc.

Do you mean that we can get the proxy configuration like /Applications/Proxyman.app/Contents/MacOS/Proxyman --configuration, and it returns some setting from the app, right?

From what I see, Charles Proxy also supports it, and it's super convenience to start/stop the app or do specific tasks 😄

may be we can provide ability to just use simple command line proxyman after adding directory to path. . And yes it would be better if we can do many specific tasks etc just like you mentioned..
